I’ve never heard of anyone being hospitalized for depression, and certainly not this long…?

I hate Fetterman, but lots of people are hospitalized for depression. Major depression is not just "feeling blue" or whatever, it is a real organic problem with the brain.

Stroke probably put lots of major issues on his health in many ways. Also he has few braincells

Not unless it’s in the nervous hospital. Which is very possible.

It's a side effect of the brain damage. It's likely very real and could be beyond crippling. We just don't know. We do know he shouldn't be holding that seat.

How could you be depressed you just won a senate seat. This guy should have never been elected. You're supposed to take care of yourself after a stroke. Not get into a highly stressful job. Obviously the dems needed him in there to get the sympathy vote.

I’ve heard he’s in much worse shape than anyone knows. Word is he doesn’t even recognize people anymore and that he uses the restroom on himself.

Hopefully not that bad but he could make a run at the Whitehouse if things are really that bad

My personal opinion is that it's not just depression. The time he should have been taking to recover from the stroke, he was putting alot of unneeded stress on himself and it did far more damage to him. We joke about Biden having pudding for brains, but at this point, Fetterman is probably really close. His doctors and his family should have made him withdraw from the race. It's likely they received a large sum of money from the democratic party, which is what people like that ultimately value most.

I have not been depressed but had a really bad situation for the last 36 years. But I am dealing one day at a time and making progress more recently. Life isn't fair. Just got to move on and don't dwell on it. It is really hard to do in my situation, but I am managing it pretty well so far.

A lot of people are hospitalized for depression. It’s very common and a good thing for those that need it. Be glad you have never been, but many are and most are everyday nice people.

The fact people have to guess what is going on with our "leaders" should tell you all you need to know about the state of the country.

Biden may drop Kamala from the ticket so there will be 2 brain dead candidates on the Democratic side of the ticket in 2024, and both can run from their basements.

He’s done. If you had a regular job you had to think at, you would never return. But hey our Government is run by brain dead individuals anyway - he will fit right in.

Yeah, just before he was admitted, he interviewed an expert on the Senate floor. I saw the interview, and it was a disaster. Thought at the time that it was so embarrassing, that he really couldn’t do the job of a Senator; at least, not be on a committee where there’s a back and forth dialogue. Didn’t know that interview would lead to this, it it was that bad, where the expert in the interview felt sorry for him, and tried to help him…. Cringe, for an expert you are trying to grill on an issue. Feel that it tipped Fester over the line, where he knew he couldn’t do this job.. it may be depression, but feels like this is even deeper reason for him to just bow out, and the Dems are just playing games, now….

Apparently, not so much so that he’s still not able to take care of important Senatorial duties.
