Don't sell the trash on the plead deals. These are folks that cannot battle the system because they don't have money to do so. The Plead deals are crap and the DA knows it. DA knows they can't win these cases because they overcharged for nothing.....

I'm looking for Trump in the White House and a whole lot of revenge on the DA's and the Judges as well .....

Construction Moguls didn't get there because they were kind ....Revenge is sweet ...

Yeah, that's not how it works. At all.

Super. I still don’t care. A witness should be allowed to say whatever they feel like up there and if there is a problem the lawyers can take it up. My comment isn’t about the wisdom or legality of such a strategy. Just simply their ability to defend themselves in a manner of their choosing.

Most try to keep it at a level you can comprehend sir. It's more of a courtesy response so as not to force you to google.

They threw a bullshite case at him as a political stunt and he's throwing bullshite back at them and making a spectacle out of their stunt. Petulance is met with Petulance.

It's the prosecutorial re-creation of this moment

I’m far from a legal scholar but this is his testimony to give.

While I generally agree with the above statement there are some potential issues. If it is Trump testifying on his own behalf (ie direct) and being asked questions by his lawyers he should be allowed to testify and whatever manner he chooses.

However, if he is being cross examined there are parameters that a Court can require he follow.

For example, many times of court will instruct a witness to simply answer yes or no to a question without hyperbole.

Pretty much.

They are having a trial over loan documents because the state’s valuation and Trump’s valuation don’t match.

Problem is that the important thing is the bank’s valuation, which felt it was high enough for him to use it as an asset to secure the loans in question and had no complaints about it.

No, no they aren't. I realize that people who run the TDS channels have brainwashed the window licking retards TDS followers into believing this is an option, but I assure you the Secret Service would never allow anyone to place their hands on Trump.

Trump’s responses to questions about his 40 Wall Street property drew ire from the judge.

“$550M is a very low number,” Trump said of the property. “All you have to do is look at a picture of the building and say that’s worth a lot more money. You wanna put up a picture?”

Engoron interjected again, telling Trump attorney Chris Kise to take control of his client.

“I would think, respectfully — of all witnesses — your honor would want to hear everything this witness has to say,” Kise said.

“No, I do not want to hear everything this witness has to say,” Engoron angrily replied.

Trump shook his head and smiled.

“I am not here and these people are not here to hear what he has to say; we are here to hear him answer questions,” Engoron continued. “It’s very simple. Is this an accurate number? It’s very simple.”

Wow. How was Trump's response not an answer the the question about if the valuation was accurate?

That's not how trials or the criminal justice system works. You have to answer the question being asked. You can't just get up there and say whatever you want as a witness.

I think it should be clear by now that one of the objectives of project lawfare is to leverage these "charges" to muzzle Trump as much as possible.
