um - the proper answer is to ign0re this order, much like our friends on the left do...

that judge has zero right to do this & the county and Texas should ignore the ruling

Odd that they didn't name it, unless it's not actually a "history book"

Lots of people still like to read from an actual book.

The reality is we have reached a point in our soceity where the right has to take stronger and stronger steps - even steps that are stupid and hurtful - in an attempt to combat the stronger and stronger steps being taken by the lect.

It's a race to the bottom.

Llano County should rename all their libraries ' loafing sheds' instead. Then send that judge a letter stating that they don't have libraries.

The book is not banned. People can buy the book. The book is not in the library.

Totally different thing.

This is the problem again and again.

The judge has overstepped his boundary.

This is a local funded library system.
This should go to the state courts first.

A community with 22,000 people can use the money from the library system to fund something more important.

Look, I may not like the subject matter of some of these books (the farting snowman does sound intriguing, though), but I don't go for book bans. It's just too Joseph Goebbels for my liking.

Not having a book in the library is not a "ban".

Banning books in schools is one thing but banning them in public libraries is a slippery slope that Republicans shouldn't go down.

I'm sure Amazon has the Farting Snowman book if you can't live without it.

Pick up a dictionary from 1970 and look up words online. You'll find very different meanings of words. It's much harder to change books vs the internet. People are trying to rewrite history so it should be persevered when possible.

I'm sure Amazon has a ton of history books as well. Double edged sword.
