Yeah Trump is totally creating the constitutional crisis not the judges who have become dictators overnight

At this point, I guess the best thing to do would be to just dismantle all other layers of government and bureaucratic framework and run everything via judicial edict. If nothing else, it would cut out the need for a lot of unnecessary bloat.

What constitutional right do minors have to pornographic material in an education setting? I’ll hang up and listen.

Who died and made her God? The buck stops with us. Can these judges be sued? It is high time to make them pay. If they lose their case they should be required to pay court costs and the total sum of the suite.

You pretty much know which threads SFP won't go in.
This will be one of them.
Just like with covid. He was all up in the ones arguing about the vaccine effectiveness but completely absent for the mandate threads.

Interesting case. Understanding the procedural status may be important.
This is NOT an ex parte TRO ruling, to be in place only a week or so until a hearing on a preliminary injunction. This is a preliminary injunction ruling, which will be in place until full litigation of the case in a year or so.
Apparently, the ACLU skipped requesting a TRO, probably because they knew they would lose on a TRO ... no permanent and irreparable injury, if the books get stuck in a closet for a week.
On one hand, there is the traditional deference given to local school districts on matter of education. On the other hand, the school board is clearly abridging speech. This sort of case involves a balancing of those two, competing interests.
I haven't read the briefing, but my initial inclination is that the Judge got the balancing wrong on this one and that she should not have issued the injunction.

So selective in which legal thread they jump into.

I didn't see the judges ruling or her comments.
I'd like to know how she rationalizes this horrible decision. Surely faggiehank could shed some light, this is his kinda thing.

this is precisely the time that you provoke them to go further

I think Miller is doing just that. Trump's team had to know what these judges were going to do.

We have federal laws about obscene material in the presence of minors. Could not be a clearer case to go arrest the judge. If Bondi doesn't produce an arrest in 24hrs here, she should be fired. Same with Kash.

OTOH, the judge does not have much discretion as to which cases get filed in (or assigned to) her court. It isn't "her case."

glue the pages together and put them back

Again, I disagree with her balancing based upon what little of the detail we have seen to date.

No school board provides copies of every book in print, so I guess they're all "abridging speech."

Well, it sure wasn't going to be given to a judge like Chamberlain Haller.
I'm pretty sure she was picked for this particular case. Don't know how but it does happen.

the school board is clearly abridging speech.
When a given book is rejected purely based upon a political view concerning its content (as is admitted here), you have a different kettle of fishies.

The US Judicial Branch was the very first Branch of the Federal Govt to be completely conquered by the Radical American Left.
This is an all-out effort to stop all American resistance to the Globo Homo Queer Planet agenda destiny that the Left have intended for the USA.
The plan is to make the USA the world power that spreads Globo Homo world wide in order to make a Queer Planet.
We're seen a lot of resistance from the Judiciary, because they have been Leftist the longest.
