The President determines what the mission is for DOE and what level staffing they need. Not some hack judge.

What we need to be doing is figuring out how to hold some of these hacks responsible when the idiots they turn loose do what the moron in Kentucky did.,

You guys are screaming about activist judges, but guess what, judges don't act on shite (except Supreme) unless there is a case before them.

At least you are upfront about being a dishonest frickwad. We can ignore you now

Any obligations can be fulfilled by other agencies in the federal government. The Dept. of Education is not necessarily needed to fulfill that role.

And what happens if Trump just plain out ignores this? I mean they can’t fire him.

The Supreme Court on Monday granted the Trump administration’s request to temporarily pause an order by a federal judge in Massachusetts that would require the Department of Education to reinstate nearly 1,400 employees who were fired earlier this year as part of the department’s efforts to reduce the size of its workforce. In a brief unsigned ruling, the justices blocked the order issued in May by U.S. District Judge Myong Joun, who had concluded that the Trump administration’s “true intention is to effectively dismantle the Department” even though in his view it lacked the power to do so.

Almost every one of these activist judges are foreign trash born elsewhere. It shouldn’t be allowed.

The pendulum will swing the other way and there will be a Democrat as the POTUS someday and I'll be glad their powers are also limited and there are checks and balances in place.

Like when Biden was openly aiding and abetting millions of illegals to flood our country and use our tax dollars to put them in luxury hotels? Don’t remember any judges stopping that shite

Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974 says the executive cannot rescind appropriated funding without congressional review.

Then that money can sit in a DoE bank account and earn interest until Congress reallocates it.

They’re always looking to spend money.
