This isn't going to go well for Boasberg

Let’s see how ignoring a court order works out for these folks.
You and Judge Jeb Boasberg are more than welcome to go retain them, you probably think these animals have rights.

I've read LA Supreme Court cases where responses to similar requests from federal district courts got lawyers suspended because the responses were not...adequate.
Family law attorneys are so well versed on these matters

The Senate sure as hell isn't going to die on the impeachment hill to bring foreign terrorists INTO the country.

Wouldn't it be easy to track the plane's route & determine where it was at the time of the judge's order?
How does that work? I'd imagine it would be outside of US jurisdiction at some point. And if so, how would a retroactive order work? IANAL but "you were wrong because I decided so afterwards" doesn't pass the sniff test.
It seems like such a contrived outrage over a plane not turning around mid-flight. Then again Jan 6th seemed contrived too but libs have been bringing it up for 4 years now.

but isn't "I am in contempt of this court". a very factual and clear response , not to be dismissed lightly.

here is no, and never will be precedent for a judge to demand illegal violent offenders, who are non citizens, to be brought into America for no reason.
Could you imagine if 25 years ago, let's say Aug. 2001, a federal judge ordered Osama bin Laden returned to the US for "custodial protection" if we'd had him in hand and were seeking to turn him over to country willing to jail him?

El Salvador has them. You can get them if you travel on your own dime and pay the country $6 million...the fee for housing these terrorists.
frick off, "judge".

Even if you are some POS activist judge, this is the hill you die on? A bunch of criminal, non-citizen gang members?
Posted on 3/17/25 at 2:21 pm to DevilDagNS
It's all they have at this point, but trying to stop the Executive Branch from fulfilling its obligation to do all in their power to enforce the rule of law and keep Americans safe, is pissing in the wind.

These lawyers can't simply ignore a judge's order. Not if they want to avoid contempt and possibly ethical punishments.

As a conservative, you want this to continue throughout Trump's term. It'll make it that much easier for the us in the midterms and for J.D. in 2028.
