Child hasn't been born so how can they argue for birthright citizenship?

Granting class action status is the loophole.

I thought the USSC sorted this shite out.

They did. Liberal activists judges just don't care, so they ignore the ruling.

The answer is to reciprocate the dismissal. Action = equal + opposite reaction and such. Ignore the block, carry on with business as usual.

We don’t need to change the law yet, we need scotus to interpret the existing law. Most people don’t think the existing law grants birth right citizenship as it is being applied today because the law was intended to address freed slaves after the civil war, not mass illegal migration from other countries.

Good. Now the USSC can make a ruling on birthright citizenship.

I think what has really shook me to my bones over the past 10 years is how many people in the government, big business, the judiciary, legacy media and academia are partnering to destroy the US from within....truly they are the enemies from within.

It's my impression that they already have some time ago. Why not just make the law more clear?

There was no such thing as illegal migration when the 14th Amendment was passed. We had open borders for the first hundred years of our history, and only started restricting immigration when we wanted to exclude a bunch of Chinese from moving over here.

The solution is a constitutional amendment to change the law,

The constitution doesn't need to be amended. Retarded jurisprudence needs to be undone.

they did that like way back in 1898. But our current sitting president decided to say nuh uh and issue an executive order because he doesn't agree with it.

Why can’t a group of Americans file a class action suit against the government for the immediate harm that each anchor baby will cause the tax payer.

Every tax dollar spent on an illegal is a dollar not spent on an American in need. Every anchor baby is a direct harm to every working and middle class American as well as legal immigrants.

No other developed nation grants birthright citizenship

Woah woah woah woah woah woah…. How does this individual have standing??

That isn’t a person according to the left. This person needs booted from the class action suit immediately and there should be absolutely zero argument against it.

Right libs??

If you reverse it, it would be accurate. You act like we are the only country in the world with citizenship by birth. Its actually the most common form of granting citizenship in the west.

It's clearly an illegal immigrant ready to pop a baby out on US soil.

The Executive Order applies to a person born in the United States to a mother who was here legally but temporarily - basically anyone here on a visa.

According to the current law they aren't illegals they are US citizens. I'm not a lawyer but how do you file a class action lawsuit saying money spent on born US citizens is harming other US citizens. You, me, whomever can not like it all we want. We have a process in place to change it. Trying to find a loophole to change it outside of our constitutional process is a hard line for me no matter who won the vote.

A constitutional amendment is one way to solve the problem, however simply legislatively defining the rules for birthright citizenship would be a big help.
