Judge blocks 3 agencies from disclosing troves of sensitive personal data to DOGE

Lois Lerner was in the right era of history.
U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman barred the Department of Education (DOE), Department of the Treasury and Office of Personnel Management (OPM) from disclosing the personal identifying information of about 2 million plaintiffs in a lawsuit challenging DOGE’s access to any of the advisory board’s affiliates.
They contend that DOGE’s actions violate the Privacy Act, which was passed in response to the Watergate scandal and provides safeguards against breaches of privacy. In court filings, they accused the agencies of “abandoning their duties as guardians and gatekeepers” of the sensitive information of millions of Americans.

The Patriot Act violates the Privacy Act. You don't see them complaining about that.

Obstruct by any means necessary... really pitiful where we find ourselves as a country...

Just call DOGE a law enforcement agency. The Privacy Act has loopholes the size of the Pacific Ocean that permit access to any data or record for any barely defined "law enforcement" purposes.

Trump should issue a new EO over ruling these injunctions, then when the court orders something over ruling that EO Trump should answer with another EO over ruling and etc and so on.

Anyone tell the judge they don’t care about and don’t need the personal data?
They just need the metadata and the EIN and the bank account numbers.

I agree with others who have pointed out that these activist judges are involved in a conspiracy to obstruct President Trump from carrying out his duties under Article II. They have conspired with liberal politicians and liberal organizations. The RICO statutes should come into play here. DOJ needs to conduct an investigation and issue subpoenas for all the communications between these groups.

The welfare is over people
Its just a matter of time.
Keep fighting it and it will be much worse on the other side. I am sick of this.
Keep it up. I really hope they keep it up.

Their goal is to slow Trump down as much as possible because if he has a lot of early success then we will probably be able to hold the house and senate in the mid terms. And they KNOW if left alone Trump will prove we don't need even half the size of the current government.

Exactly
All you need is enough time to collect the data right after the EO goes out
Can probably do it before it is even officially published anywhere for someone to look at

Just have those department heads and cabinet members appointed by DJT ignore rhetoric Judges rulings, disclose the info.
Then DJT just PARDONS THEM IMMEDIATELY once they are charged or reprimanded for doing so.

When did Dodge become independent agency?

They’re building the biggest RICO case in history. And it’s one reason why I think they’ve allowed all these corrupt fricks to operate so brazenly.

What is different about DOGE and the people that already work there and have access to this information?
They are all Executive Branch employees.

Trump needs to start steering Johnson and Thune to begin defunding the whole shoot'n match. Ultimately that's the control of fedgov that can't be contested with the judiciary.

The vast majority of government workers suck.
Case in point, just look at the DMV. Had to get a replacement title recently. Arrived at the Independence blvd office in BR, was told to go away, they only accept appointments scheduled online. I scheduled the 1st available appt, which was a month later. Showed up 10 months early for my 2:00 appt, which didn’t happen until 4:25.
There are frickin 30 different stations to service the taxpayer at that location. 5 of the stations had employees sitting at desks, only 2 of which I saw serve a single person the entire time i was waiting. A cop was having to work the reception desk bc apparently the employees had better things to do, such as spitball fights and paper airplane making contests. I detest that place.
