obsession
The only obsession I see is your ilk's constant clamoring for more gun laws.
Mass shootings represent a very small fraction of gun deaths in this country. Most gun deaths occur in large urban areas and are done with small caliber handguns. Most of these areas have a majority of a certain demographic.
What if it was suggested that we toss out the 4th amendment and go door to door in black neighborhoods, rounding up illegal guns and tossing people in jail, you wouldn't like that, would you?
Yet, you seemingly have no issue violating the constitutional rights of millions of Americans because they own a certain type of firearm or have a certain political philosophy.

t. The bill's provisions are aimed at strengthening the National Instant Background Check System by offering bonuses to federal agencies that provide information to the system and grants for states to upload information.
Why would a better background check have to pay bonuses?

So we are going to give out bonuses for people doing their job?

Can someone explain why stricter background checks would be a bad deal for the country?
This is part of the “common sense” gun control that is already in place. The gun shop already calls the FBI before you’re allowed to get a gun

Muh 2nd Amendment!
I will never understand this nation’s obsession with its guns.
Most regressive douches don't.
Its pitiful how many of you take your rights for granted.

Because the NRA is in his pocket

Can you explain why we need government permission to exercise an unalienable right?
Do you want background checks before someone engages in speech?

Well that’s just because either
1) You had a terrible education
Or
2) You’re incapable of thinking outside of yourself.
Honorable mention:
3) Youre simply just making stuff up to try and troll.

I don't understand your obsession with blowing truckers.

Good! I paid for my NRA membership precisely to lobby Congress to keep democrats from infringing on my rights.
Sounds like I'm getting my money's worth.

Have you tried asking the GAO?
I'll tl;dr it for you.
-GAO tried 72 times to legally purchase firearms with sketchy attempts (violent background info, lying about their identity, etc), all failed. They tried the "dark web" (ie: purchasing illegally through the internet) and succeeded only twice.
To sum it up: tightening gun purchasing restrictions would do nothing to lessen gun violence because the current restrictions are already working far better than intended.

Because I can genuinely see you and your ilk wanting to put 'political affiliation' on those checks and if you answer wrong, you don't get the gun. Just like I can see y'all doing the same with religion, etc.
You and your kind are truly the most abhorrent human beings in this country.

Pass progun stuff (less soft targets; universal concealed carry). We need more people carrying guns.
