Shocked that the comPost would publish this.

quote:

My party cannot simply be the opposite of whatever President Donald Trump says. The president could come out for ice cream and lazy Sundays, and my party would suddenly hate them. Such pointless pile-ons and attacks are unproductive. The American people want us to work together to find solutions on issues they and our country face.

Never would I have guessed that Fetteman would emerge as a voice of reason.

Good for him!

Whoever thought a couple of years ago that this guy would be speaking facts.

Fetterman is a throwback Dem.

Someone I still likely disagree with on policy issues probably 90+ percent of the time but someone I can at least respect because he’s coming from a place where he’s trying to do right for his constituency and his country (as wrong as I think he may be on how to do it).

To see such a person increasingly becoming a pariah within his own party should tell you all you need to know about the state of today’s Democratic Party.

This is the distinction tactic of the Left.

If that side is for it, we're against it!

've seen many Dem pols stating flatly they're going to FIGHT Trump and STAND UP TO HIS MAGA AGENDA!

What's the agenda?

It's what WE'RE AGAINST!

I’ve never seen a stroke improve someone’s intelligence

Fetterman isn’t conservative, but he is more like the democrats of the 80s-90s that were more center left and could be reasoned with and still loved our country. He is more like the blue collar union democrats that no longer exist in that party. He isn’t republican but he would do better as an independent or a center left working class union supporter that joins the GOP because he can work with them and support some America first things like tariffs and energy independence

It’s amazing how the more his brain healed the less democrat he became.

The thing is Trump can seem to be all over the place and if you try to be the opposite of him, he’s going to make you look retarded.

Trump is forcing Dems to come up with something rational and they are proving how incapable they are of doing that.

He's not. Like Rubio, they are goth gamesters, playing along until the opportunity presents itself. Neither one can lead.

And you still haven't. Unless this is going to be the thread where we pretend the John Fetterman we see today hasn't been switched out like 5 different times since he stole his election.
