A member of my wife's family is a West Texas Dem, blue collar dem to her core. Of partial Mexican descent, El Paso is very blue.
We had an argument a little while back about my opposition to how wide spread Vote by Mail has become, with her being in favor of it basically "any time someone wants to vote".
I used Fetterman as an example, stating AT LEAST mail in voting shouldn't begin until after a debate, because once people actually saw him I imagine some people would change their vote.
Her response was that no debate would ever sway her she's going to vote for the Democrat 100% of the time, so she should be able to vote by mail whenever she wants, as early as she wants

I point blank asked a Democrat to justify his vote for Fetterman. His verbatim response:
“I vote policy, not the person.”
“I vote policy, not the person.”

The difference is there are some Republicans who will not vote for a Republican while every Democrat will vote for a rock if it has a D next to it’s name.
