Joe Burrow Post-Game Interview (Political related)

For those didn't see his post-game interview live, the reporter maintained 6-ft distance from Joe for his interview and fist-bumped at the end. Great COVID social distancing optics.
A second later - cameras still rolling - the two drop their guard, come in, give a firm handshake and hug right before the camera cuts off. Whoops! Forgot to turn the camera off!
I'm tired of the charade. I'm tired of my kids wearing masks all day at school while the rest of society pays lip service to this joke of a mask mandate. And as we now know (for the hundredth time), only N95 masks are worth a damn, and they're still in short supply. So basically most masks folks wear are worthless.

After all this time I've still yet to hear an explanation for why certain people in certain situations can just completely ignore the masks. Football players literally tackle each other then stand 6 ft away from the reporter. Politicians are constantly seen just casually wearing their mask. Our own "President" puts his mask on, walks to the podium, then immediately takes it off. He was photographed posing with a bunch of kids in Trump t-shirts, unmasked and likely unvaccinated, and he was wearing no mask. With his age and health why didn't complete hell break loose? Why wasn't he rushed to the hospital after nuzzling a bunch of unvaxxed Trump kids with no mask? 5 year olds have to wear a mask at recess but Biden takes mask off, coughs in his hand, then proceeds to shake hands with everybody. I still don't understand how people watch all this and still go along with it

I take it as a policy the interviewer has to follow. He does it out of respect to the athlete and if the Athlete wants to handshake or hug afterwards, that is fine.
I see it more of them saying I don't know how you feel about Covid so I am gonna be overhere.

It’s easy to refute because it’s a stupid statement. The guy is tired of his kids having to wear masks in school, but the alternative - taking them out of school is worse. Boy, that was SO HARD to refute.

I think it goes a layer deeper. Joe does not want to miss the AFC championship having to sit out due to a cold.

Reminds me of the video that came out during the height of this "pandemic" where the two Democrats from PA were caught on a hot mic admitting their masks were just for "political theater".

For optics reasons, you can't go rushing Biden to the hospital every time he nuzzles a kid.
