Claiming it makes a gun more lethal

Wtf?

The people crafting the gun laws now are people totally uneducated about basic facts

Also,

the proposed pistol brace ban is an attack on the ability of disabled Americans to exercise Second Amendment rights. It is discriminatory.

Holding a pistol upright rather than gangsta style makes it "more lethal".

Does this mean we all now have to hold the goddamn pistol sideways to shoot?

All cosmetic changes to appease his base. Just ridiculous.

I wonder if he has even looked at mass shooter data. How many of these shooters used such a "brace?" I would wager zero.

after the next shooting, it will be some other attachment, then scopes, then extended stocks and so on and so forth until its just a bare gun allowed, then they will ban those too.

The 16" restriction in the NFA should be an absolute slam-dunk case of an unconstitutional law. It was put in place when no infantry rifles to speak of had barrels shorter than that length, so any rifle with a shorter barrel was inherently "dangerous and unusual" (i.e. not useful in a militia capacity). However, the standard issue M4 rifle today has a 14.5" barrel, which means the antiquated 16" rule no longer has any constitutional justification.

Yep. Same goes for how many of these shooters are NRA members. Probably zero.

When they say "brace" are they talking folding stock? I don't get it?

And I believe any record of domestic violence will prohibit you from purchasing at least through an FFL dealer

doubt most of these Democrat lawmakers have ever held, seen or shot an AR pistol.

Still trying to figure out how this brace or how an SBR is more lethal (according to Biden) than a 16+" barrel.

The brace with the arm hole and Velcro strap to allow for one handed shooting of the pistol. Folding stock ar adapter is just for transport as the rifle won’t shoot in the folded position as the action has no where to go to cycle the round. Also the way they are made blocks the safety on a right handed rifle.

stabilizing pistol braces
These are essentially a workaround for not being able to have a stock on an AR-15 "pistol." The "brace" allows one to build an SBR with a makeshift stock. If my goal was to limit the 2A then I'd do away with them.

That's not my goal and I don't think Joe knows wtf he's talking about but his goal is obviously to limit the 2A.
