Switched from gas to Kobalt (Lowe's) 40v trimmer last summer and couldn't be happier with it. Battery powered tools have come a long, LONG way since I'd last tried them several year ago. ETA: Kobalt's 24v stuff is made by the same company that makes EGO. the 40v and 80v stuff is made by Gree...
