Switched from gas to Kobalt (Lowe's) 40v trimmer last summer and couldn't be happier with it. Battery powered tools have come a long, LONG way since I'd last tried them several year ago.

ETA: Kobalt's 24v stuff is made by the same company that makes EGO. the 40v and 80v stuff is made by Greenworks

ETA: that diagram is from here and is only for power tools

I'm not saying this applies to the OP, but I was always shocked at the number of friends who would put up with unbelievable crap just because they were getting a little. Or even worse because they weren't getting any but couldn't stand to be alone and would rather be in a bad relationship than no relationship!

My college room mate was like that and would put a death clamp on any/every girl that let him have sex with her (note the wording). I told him "man they can smell your desperation a mile away and that's why they treat you like shite". He married a girl that I all but begged him not to and she was pregnant with another guys baby within the first year.

Learn to make peace with yourself before you get serious about any piece.

You'll both be better for it.
