If you watch Jesse Watters’ show, and you also watched Bill O’Reilly’s show on Fox back in the day, do you notice that many of Jesse’s hand gestures closely resemble Bill’s?

They’re both “hand talkers”, and I can’t help but notice the similarities. I only find this interesting if it may be intentional, because prior to his fall, Bill was wildly successful. Is Jesse trying to emulate what he can for hopefully similar success?

I know this is a stupid topic. But feel free to point it out to me anyhow.

Jesse is kind of rapey/creepy to me. I think the story of how he met his wife or first got a date from her is he let the air out of her tires, then offered her a ride. Everybody on the Fox set was, like, uh

It's very common for expressive people to use their hands when talking.

I've noticed some similarities in Jesse's and Bill O's mannerisms.

Of course Jesse got his start on Bill O's show.

Talking with hand gestures is a sign of high intelligence.

I was thinking exactly that last week. He’s pretty much stolen every Bill O'Reilly shtick. He used to seem like a humble guy. But now that he has his own show, he’s literally Bill O’Reilly level of a$$hole and has a level of self-importance that Fox hasn't seen since O'Reilly.

He's clearly studied tapes and has mimicked every hand gesture, dramatic pause, and how he modulates his voice. It's more an impersonation like Dana Carvey used to do Johnny Carson

…but he’s still right most of the time.

Maybe he’s not exactly how I’d draw up the prototype most perfect national news evening show host in generations, but notwithstanding that I think he’ll do just fine and I do not find myself being irked by him nor does anything jump out at me that I can’t get past. Seems all good to me.

Doesn't seem that surprising considering Watters was more or less a student of Bill O

He's a douche for sure, though.

Naw man. How do you expect him to be? I mean, guaranteed that has many people approach him in public who consider him famous, which I’d consider him, why not. No doubt he’s had plenty of chicks pursue him and let him know of their admiration in no uncertain terms. He’s actually earned himself a prime time spot on one of the most well known news outlets in the world. So he’s got plenty of reason to think very, very highly of himself. But in my opinion he manages that quite well, unlike the Don Lemonds and the doughboy on CNN as well.

Hell I think he’s got it made in the shade and handles himself well.
