Every time I see that picture, I can't believe that is who that is. If I didn't know, I'd never be able to tell you who that is just from that picture.
Steven Spielberg... Hard to believe isn't it?...
But then it is an even scarier realization that the USA dollar is also backed by nothing of value any more!
The $ is backed by our military end of story... Bit coin is a ponzi. A good trader however can still make money in this market but anyone who thinks this is a store of ...

re: RIP Gord Downie - jpatrick
I wrote this a couple years ago and posted it on the 9/11 roll call TD chain I worked at Cantor Fitzgerald at the Chicago Board of Trade. I knew too many former colleagues that didn't make it. Had been to the Cantor offices at the top of the WTC many times. I'll think of them and there families...

re: Follow up question about washing machine - jpatrick
Had an LG front loader and matching dryer. Both were crap. Circuit board went out on washer and dryer took multiple cycles to dry thoroughly Got rid of them and went with old school top loader with an agitator made by speed queen Wife more than satisfied as clothes actually get clean and drye...

re: Hey, Big 12, about that whole expansion thing..... - jpatrick
If LSU was serious about joining the Big12, LSU would have enough leverage that we could come in and get whatever we wanted. Texas, Oklahoma, and the rest of the Big12 would roll out the red carpet for LSU.
This! I started a thread this morning about this exact topic and was dow...

re: LSU leaves SEC over this Florida hurricane debacle - jpatrick
The bias is real from the home office... We got skullfu*#ed again! I know leaving the SEC is difficult to comprehend but why should we stay in a conference where the conference management is actively working to put us at a disadvantage? ...

re: LSU leaves SEC over this Florida hurricane debacle - jpatrick
I wrote "COMPLETE SPECULATION" for those with reading comprehension issues... What if it goes down like I posed in my scenario and we have to either forfeit or the game is cancelled. Then say we run the table and get boxed out of the SEC Championship game? Then what? Still want to stay?...

LSU leaves SEC over this Florida hurricane debacle - jpatrick
Complete speculation... I'm making some assumptions here as well Specifically: - There is a real Bama bias in the SEC offices - Florida truly does not want to play this game regardless of "where" this weekend due to injuries on DL but (as pointed out in another thread) is playing poker a...

re: LSU fans taking over in Chicago - jpatrick
Point taken and I agree this is an will always be a Bears town. In the midst of a possible playoff run the Cubs are now 2nd fiddle to the Bears now that football started. Guy in my office couldn't give 2 Cubs tickets away to today's game and today may be the nicest day of the year. ...

re: Rainbow play systems - worth it? - jpatrick
I live in the suburbs of Chicago and our weather cycles from arctic cold to sweltering hot. I bought a wooden swing set from Sam's for 1k about 7 years ago and it's time for me to get rid of it as it hasn't lasted and is ready to break. My neighbor bought a used Rainbow system (3 years old a...

re: I found my NEW favorite way to watch LSU Football - jpatrick
I had this on a different TV watching through the Watch ESPN app on X-Box. It was delayed by about 90 seconds so I'd watch in real time on cable and check out the skycam view on plays I wanted to see. Like the above poster mentioned there are no announcers and when plays happened right before a ...

re: Why in the world would we talk to anyone on the Bears defensive staff?? - jpatrick
As a Chicago Bears fan and LSU alum this has me puzzeled as well. The Bears "D" over the last two years were some of the worst professional defenses I have ever had to watch. I hope it's just a Les smokescreen... ...

That sounds right about Dimms being in Donaldsonville. It was definitely in Donaldsonville because I remember going after mass on Sunday. It wasn't far from Ascension Church (where my parents were married). ...
