He wears tons of make up, has a contrived schtick and regurgitates talking points on TV.

He left his wife for his assistant.

He's a poster boy for douchebag IMO. Just because I usually agree with his show themes doesn't mean it's any less true.

Hey I’m fine with it and welcome disagreement. Hopefully I didn’t insinuate that my opinion is the only correct one. Folks just perceive things differently sometimes, oftentimes even. I think it’s normal.

But just out of curiosity, is there any particular news personality who you don’t have any notable criticisms about and perhaps even enjoy watching?

**ETA….yeah, I may’ve come in a little hot with my opinion, taking on the tone of doing that thing I hate so badly - acting as if I’m that expert on the specific subject of Jesse Waters and who’s a douche and who’s not. Everything I say here is merely opinion, perhaps other than criminal defense and I probably retain enough hours of practice at being a unreasonable risk taking womanizing lush from my 20s to be considered an expert in the field.

I meant no criticism, I was mainly just curious if anybody else noticed the similarities. I find it interesting is all.

Jesse is kind of rapey/creepy to me. I think the story of how he met his wife or first got a date from her is he let the air out of her tires, then offered her a ride. Everybody on the Fox set was, like, uh

You miss all of the shots that you don’t take.

While creepy, a good joke never hurt anyone if done for the right intentions.

I mean I'm not that passionate about JW, I don't loathe him or anything, I just think he's douchey. To me so many personalities on Fox could be replaced by any other reasonably competent newsreader type. Especially true for JW, Fox and Friends types, etc. They just don't add anything of value, and admittedly most cable news personalities are pretty useless.

Tucker is polarizing, but I think Tucker is truly gifted (or his staff is) at spotting issues that are very much on the fringe of the establishment/MSM but resonate with the public and giving voice to them. And he's pretty good at articulating those issues and can do so credibly.

Contrast that with Hannity, who has a long history of picking a conservative topic and then arguing it from the worst possible angle in a way that almost becomes a liability for us.

If you happen to ever see old footage of Jesse when he’d have his guest spot on Bill’s show he didn’t really do this.

When Bill got canned and then Jesse ultimately inherited that timeslot I noticed him start to incorporate some of the same mannerisms Bill had: Hand gestures, inflections, pause placement, etc.

I have no issue with Jesse but did find it funny he’s incorporated some of Bill’s style into his own.

I didn’t mean to insinuate if that’s how it came across.

That deal he does at the end of the show is enough to keep me from watching.

Now that is definitely questionable. Scratch that, it’s flat out inadvisable and I can only hope it was the result of a lost bet and something strange happened from there causing its permanence.
