It's pretty simple. If Goldberg was on the chat list either accidentally or by design, then the person or persons who have the responsibility of vetting the chat list should be fired or asked to resign.
The oversight of Goldberg being on that chat list is inexplicable. The dude was pushing the alleged "suckers and losers" BS and is a known anti Trumper, he should have stuck out like a sore thumb on that chat list.

What I want to know is who can send out invites to join the group chat? Is there a moderator that is solely responsible or can anyone that has previously been accepted into the group send out an invite (that would be colossally stupid from a security standpoint)? A low level staffer is being blamed. That seems odd but I don’t know how Signal works.

You seriously think Signal isn't a type of text messaging. Oh yeah end to end encryption doesn't mean shite because of Pegasus. If the NSA can track this don't think other government's cant which is why cell phones or devices that aren't properly secure are not allowed to discuss matters that are classified. My job is in a scif so I'm familiar with this. Nothing is secure no matter what they advertise. "More Secure" just means people trying to decipher just have to jump through another hoop.

if it was actually set up as a group chat, not a board or room, and it looks like it was, then anyone in the group could've added anyone else
IMO its pretty obvious he was added by mistake, no one even checked the actual members of the chat before they started spewing info at each other. its a big FU, heads need to roll.
