Tuberville's a coward who is rightly too afraid to debate me. He says you're wrong on China & trade. He wants to bring in even more foreign workers to take American jobs. That's not your agenda and it's not mine or Alabama's. I know Alabama. Tuberville doesn't.

@realDonaldTrump
: Mr. President, Alabama can and does trust me, as do conservatives across the country. Perhaps you’ve forgotten. They trusted me when I stepped out and put that trust on the line for you.

I love seeing that. Makes me like him more. I'm all for Trump's re-election but I like that Jeff is a fighter.

I wish he showed that fire his whole career. Just goes to show you when people think they are going to lose their job, they work harder.

Except he wasn’t when his fight was most needed

He is the coward and has no right casting aspersions on others courage

Lol @ the leftist responses to his tweets. Pure retardation just like their ideology. This is why you never bow to these clowns.

His ability to participate in defending the president against the Spygate assault would have been illegal, and would have presented wiggle room in the prosecution against those guilty. Sessions himself was a victim of the illegal spying in Obamagate.

Why are you people having trouble understanding that?

Much like the Tweet where the president talked about having to fire General Flynn, Trump has since reversed course on his opinion, due to "New" Evidence.

Sessions will be no different. Eventually people will understand that obamagate / Spygate has little to nothing to do with Trump, and everything with the fact that the 44th president illegally spied on political opposition throughout his entire tenure in the Oval Office.

Big talk from a guy who was bullied into recusing himself from his job because he said hello to the Russian ambassador.

Nice of him to start punching an hour after the final bell of the heavyweight match has sounded.

He's trying to sound tough now to voters because at the most important moment of his professional life - the crossroads that would determine his legacy - he wilted. He wanted the approbation of the op-ed and Beltway crowd. He couldn't muster enough gumption then to fight his cocktail party friends.

It's easy to talk tough now on the campaign trail. When it mattered, the moment was too tough for him.

I marvel at the vigorous tenacity Swamp politicians exhibit in their efforts to re-enter the Swamp. The corruption problem in DC will only be remedied by removing the incentives to swim in the Swamp.

Sessions is still a coward. He knows attacking Trump will only result in favorable coverage. Alabama doesnt want you Jeff. Keep your swampy arse away from Alabama

It certainly is quite the curious matter that a fella Sessions' age would want to get back in that meat grinder. I guess the answer to that is it's not really a meat grinder at all, but rather something much more desirable than one might be led to believe.

It was a mistake IMO opinion, for President Trump to tweet about this, because if Sessions does manage to win re-election, that will be another enemy with swamp ties in The Senate.

The Senate is a club and once you are in it is for life for about 80% of them. All they do is talk and they only have to run every 6 years.

shittiest "meat grinder" ever

I'm not an Alabama guy so I don't really have a dog in the fight.

I was very pissed at Sessions during the coup. All that "Trust Sessions" crap were out my faith. Maybe it has all been political theater. I just don't know.

All I know is that I hope you good Alabama folk will vote in whomever will provide you the best representation, and whom will support Trump the most. From what little I've heard, it does look like Sessions' ideology and record more closely aligns with the Trump agenda, but I'm admittedly ignorant to the full picture.

I just want what's best for you Alabama folk and the USA.

The only things Sessions “fought” were illegal immigration and marijuana.
