Meh. I’d hope a law student is capable of filtering out snowflake rants like this. Also, how many Trump supporting students are taking climate change law as their elective?

How about just teach your class and don't lecture students on their choice of politics!?
lol no lectures in universities ok. Show where the teacher grades Trump voters more negative than the rest and this is a story. Professors are paid for their opinions in addition to coursework. God forbid we have students being exposed to ideas different from their own.

Wtf does that even mean??
That means white people are bad and you should be ashamed of yourself.
Just like we've been told since Obama's first term.

Do you think telling white Republican students that they’re the “reason” black students feel uncomfortable is relevant to a lecture? Explain

The professor, who teaches climate change law, then talked to his students about how "there's a pretty big rejection of that idea that we should be governed by experts."
"I think it's worthwhile to consider that and think about that as you go into law school, finishing your law school career and go into law practice, how you're going to handle that sentiment," Bryner said in the lecture.
Lol, always the appeal to “experts”.

That professor is going to experience what its like to be a victim of cancel culture.
What goes around comes around.

Law professor hears from law students that they aren't comfortable at law school and law professor ties that into a lecture at law school. Seems reasonable.

Is that what he heard? Link?

I mean, I agree with his opinion, but we have to ask yet again, is it really his role? LSU can decide whether or not to discipline the professor without the damn Governor stepping in and grandstanding, and— once again— Landry should stay in his lane.

The law he referenced states a student can’t feel discriminated against or retaliated against because of their political views.
This professor is an a-hole but I don’t think the students in that room were discriminated against or retaliated against.
Once again, Jeff Landry proves to the world that he’s a dumbass.

frick that law professor.
We really need to remove politics from universities. Should be a terminable offense.

No evidence he heard any such thing at all. “Sources say” blah blah and his audience is supposed to accept that as fact and respond instead of rejecting the premise outright.

At some point, they need to look in the mirror as well.

None of it is fact, no one is under oath lol. It’s a professor giving opinionated advice to his students. Common shite. The victim mentality in the thread is a lot like the left. Not as whiny but pearls are clutched.

Why did Jeff have to put out a public letter about this? He could have gotten the same result with a phone call to the admin. at LSU. Now he gets to use this story as fodder, the professor gave Jeff exactly what he wanted, so Jeff can play warrior. Jeff might event get a Fox news appearance for this!

A liberal law school professor teaching climate change and talking race relations and TRUMP?
Landry could not draw up a better red meat issue in his wildest masturbatory fantasies.
