Jeff Landry makes me think I could be an attorney. That's not a guy you want to vote for.

I'd rather a competent person running who can articulate and at least has an approach as to starting to address real problems in this state. Showboating about crime is nothing. We already have the highest incarceration rate in the country
Then just vote for Wilson so you can tell everybody how opened minded you are.

Sure, Mr. Buddy. Landry already said he’s passing constitutional carry in the spring, a major win for our state and republicans. If he sucks as a governor, then we vote him out in 2027. Right now, don’t waist your vote, do your job and don’t force a run off.
So this is the only reason I vote for him? Then I can vote against him after in four years?

Ahhhh yes, Constitutional carry. My auto insurance rates are almost prohibitive, homeowner rates are at impoverishing levels. The economic base continues to contract, but DAMMIT what really is holding Louisiana back is that citizens cannt carry a concealed firearm without a license. So glad, I'll check in a year to see if my insurance issues are better.

If it’s he and Wilson in the runoff, I will do just that

Just look at what SFP, Damone and C on z are saying. That should tell you what to do. Unless you think these 3 stooges are ever on the right side.

Dumbest post of the day, congrats.

Wouldn’t it be sad if (D) Shawn Wilson wins out because the republicans split up the vote.
It would show us how stupid the Republican Party is in this state.

We don't need Wilson as governor to know how inept the LA GOP is

Landry for the win.

As long as they all voted for other R candidates it wouldn't matter

Almost as sad as you not understanding primaries and basic math.

I voted Landry. He’s not a perfect candidate. No one is. The other candidates perceived to be better on this board just lack the public experience to have shown their lesser qualities. I respect that Landry is the most likely candidate to win with an R behind his name, and so I’m voting for him. Baby steps. If we had learned that when JBE was first elected, we wouldn’t have had another term of him. Cucky Ralph’s Abraham voters made us all have to relearn a hard lesson. Maybe third time’s a charm. Probably not
I will fully admit I didn’t vote for diaper boy in JBE’s first election. Neither Rispone or Landry have anything near that egregious in their history

No Landry today
If it’s him and Wilson I’ll close ranks and vote for him, because I understand that any Republican is better than Wilson.
For all you Landry fanboys… if he didn’t make the runoff, would you vote for the Republican who did?
