Legislators don’t get free sports tickets to events.
They are offered them, but they have to pay for them.

The Causeway Commission.

Most corrupt organization in LA. And that is saying something.

Also, the guy that said to get rid of half or most of the four year colleges in LA is spot on. Making those into training centers, or junior colleges is the way to go.

My department is so underfunded that it might not be possible to cut anything.

100% paid by Tulane, one of the few good deals the state has ever struck.

Break up the Louisiana marijuana "cartel" that has been setup by law and push for full recreational in this state. We all know that would never happen but.

- Eliminate 1000 supervisor positions in state government. There's on 2 or 3 employees for every supervisor in state government.
- Stricter requirements for Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements.
- Privatize the OMV
- Merge SUNO/UNO, Tech/LSUS/NSU/LSUA

100% paid by Tulane

Because they get special tax treatment unique to only them, from the State.

The last look into these tax breaks was in 2000. Tulane received $30M in tax breaks, Tulane gave $3M in scholarships.

Additionally, there is implicit fraud in the handouts of this scholarship.

It is not farfetched to believe that this costs Louisiana upwards of $50-100m/year

How about that zillion dollar stunt moving homeless people down the street so they wouldn't be in front of the superdome for the Super Bowl? What a waste of money that was.

I guess they need to find some savings to offset the income-tax exemptions they want to pass for wealthy teenage boys wearing tight pants.
