You confuse local politics to national politics. Louisiana has the highest sales taxes in the nation. Roads and bridges needing repairs, and new ones built, etc. Landry will need to run on what he's done to fix Louisiana's problems. He's not running for President.

JBE is horrible. Massive taxes. No economic development COVID lockdowns boys in girls sports threatened to shut down LSU football no tort reform ( Landry sucks at that also but he signed 6 bills that JBE wouldn’t ). Did nothing about crime made LSU WOKE etc covered up a State police scandal
