Landry is going to absolutely pants him in 2019. A populist, conservative coonass with strong Republican backing is going to be tough to beat.

Being from the Lafayette area, I know JBE is working with the Ashey's, long time associates of EWE and members of what some call the "Lebanese Mafia"..not in the literal sense. But consider that one of the Asheys is a major lobbyist for the cigarette vending machine industry, a cash only industry, the "mafia's" favorite kind of business. Remember that Teddy Kennedy was married to the daughter of one of the State's most powerful Lebanese families, Judge Reggie from Crowley. Home of EWE. This goes back a long long ways.

Landry's plan to combat this has already started to take shape.....let's see what happens with that district 42 Representative seat in March.
