I feel a bit bad for him the same way I do for trannys. The left likes indulging people's fantasies that are in direct conflict with reality and they end up paying a price. In some cases it is mental illness, in other cases it is "when I pull this lever, the left rewards me" and it snowballs.

This is not surprising. He seemed pretty unstable the more you heard about him and his fantastic lies.
The real indictment here is the academic establishment gaslighting him into thinking he mattered.
