Would be hard to come back from that. His entire life being a lie and collapsing around him. He would never be able to work in a university or education again. A low paying job will probably not be able to pay for his current lifestyle.
Damn, though. Suicide is never the answer . If it was suicide.

Is this the guy who was casually doing heroin, saying people were just not evolved enough to get that it was no big deal?
Or was that some other polished turd?

Jason Arday’s body isn’t even cold yet, and here’s the BBC already all but blaming Nathan Cofnas for his death.
You really cannot hate the media enough. And it will only get worse. They will forever blame the people who exposed the hoax, calling them racists for pointing out the deception, rather than blame the leftist DEI machine that inflated Arday into something far beyond his actual abilities and turned him into a symbol for its own ideological purposes, placing a weight on him that he was obviously unable to bear. That, by the way, also goes for the publishers.
Arday had already been exposed as a con man whose public story was built on lies, yet they went ahead and published his book anyway, presenting it to the public as a genuine memoir. People had spent weeks warning them not to do it, but they chose to keep selling the mythology after they knew it was false.

Is Al Sharpton on a plane on the way over as we speak?

Sure is. I knew about 75% of those.

in a sane world, he would have been called on his bullshite before his world collapsed so hard.
The sooner this happens to all of us, the better we are for it.
For example, fat people who have unhealthy lifestyles need more reminders that they need to get help. They don't need to be validated or encouraged.
Agree with your take on this 100%.

Has the MSM found a way to blame it on Trump yet?

Missed he claimed he graduated undergrad with 4.0 and highest honors.
Claimed he had tumor removed before defending dissertation and had no recollection of the defense afterwards…proceeded to explain the defense in explicit detail in his memoir including his memory that the faculty refused to look him in the eye or shake his hand.
Worked two full time jobs at night during undergrad, while also teaching on the side and raising a child.

It is amazing he got away with all of that... that's not little embellishments here and there.

His classmates started coming forward stating they had no idea he was nonverbal.
Claimed Simon and shuster gave him a $1.5 mil advance for his story…typically it’s $5-25k for a first time author.
All the good stuff that started popping up Friday came down as quick as it went up after the news broke.
I want to see Ryan gosling star in his Netflix biopic.

Built his story as this amazing life of overcoming hardships only to kill himself the first time he faced real adversity. His last con.

I just read his whole wikipedia.
obviously he was a con artist, but it's just incredibly sad that like Claudine Gay, people will just ignore all these red flags for diversity to the point where when their actual failures are highlighted, all they can claim is racism. they're to blame for their own actions, but a system that tells them they are special because of their skin color has created a fantasy.
there are brilliant Black minds out there that you could elevate instead of these randos.
I probably agree with Henry Louis Gates on 0 political points, but he's obviously a brilliant person outside of the incident. On the flip side of that Thomas Sowell.
