If there was anything of substance to any of these releases, it wouldn't happen like this. They wouldn't release a bunch of files and say here you go, run rampant on your speculation.
It would be met with months, if not years of talk so that people get used to the idea, legislative briefings, followed by an address from world leaders with specific evidence and enough truths to make it believable but enough lies not cause a worldwide panic and collapse

I do believe it's possible there's intelligent life in our galaxy and others, but the laws of physics make it impossible for them to reach us. Lets just say for argument sake they have achieved 99% speed of light travel. It's still way too dangerous....nothing would survive interstellar travel.

I love how primitive minds like ours only accept the knowledge and abilities of our species. It's an obtuse mindset to say the least. For example, general relativity allows for the warping of spacetime. Concepts like Alcubierre warp drives or wormholes are mathematically plausible. But since we, as a species, cannot figure it out, our minds or HUBRIS cannot fathom that some other species could.
