I once booked a trip to England to see him. Didn’t buy the tickets before I bought my plane ticket and booked hotels. His show was sold out and there didn’t seem to be any secondary market over there.
I emailed his website…told the story…asked if I could buy directly from them.
A few weeks later his road manager emailed me that James laughed at my story and has invited me to be his guest at the Brighton concert. Sat right side of the stage 4th row. For free. Thought that was pretty cool of him.

Remember when Baraaq Obama got shamed and embarrassed in front of the whole world by his Charle Hebdo response, so they had James Taylor fly over there to sing a song? Hard to say what was more embarrassing: covering for terrorists, or the idea the song would smooth things over.
