I'm happy to say that, except for a couple of Trump appearances, I haven't watched $ellout Sean Hannity in at least 5-6 years.

And yet, I was accused of getting my talking points from the little Fake Fox puppet by Boomer Barbie the other day. Oh, the humanity!

I did not know this happened.

Oh, BTW. CHRIST IS KING!

That's a hollow statement without professing Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ True God and True Man. Sent to us for our salvation.

What Peterson is doing is calling out all the fake christians like Tate and others who are using this statement to perpetuate anti-Semitic discourse.

Peterson takes no issue with the statement “Christ is King” itself. It’s how certain people use it in a way that Christ himself would not approve of.

To be clear, I fully agree that Christ is King, but not every use of the phrase “Christ is King” is good.

Isn't Tate a muzzie? Why would Tate invoke Jesus to be an antisemite? Isn't being Muslim enough?

What makes it special that Jesus was crucified and died for our sins is where He came from. Thousands of men were crucified by Rome, but Jesus was The son of God, the King of Kings and chose to become a sacrificial lamb not because he had to but out of love.

While we appreciate the humble life He led on Earth let’s not forget who He was before His birth and who He is now is as that makes His sacrifice more meaningful.

I’m amazed how weird people get about religion. Oh, so you’re a Jew or a catholic or atheist? Who gives a frick? How does someone’s religious beliefs ruin and destroy my private life? NewsFlash: It doesn’t.

Looks like I need to make cross-shaped signs saying this and nailing them to telephone poles.

That's why I posted an lol emoji in the OP. The entire "Christ is King" thing on the internet is ridiculous and Peterson is one of the main drivers behind it. And ironically the more he complains about it the more I want to use it.

I have mixed feelings about Peterson. He is clearly a brilliant guy, seems courageous and insightful. I’ve tried listening to his podcast but about 60% of the airtime is Peterson telling the guest what he knows about the guest’s area of expertise. It’s bizarre and difficult to listen to. He’s better as the interviewee l. And what is up with those outfits he wears? He dresses like a clown.

IDK of Christian denomination where this is not the case.

I don't think he was saying that the phrase is wrong. He was saying that a segment of the population look for ways to manipulate people. They don't make up the phrase... they use it.

He might want to get use to saying Christ is King because the time is coming when he will bend the knee and confess exactly that.

You should read C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters.

There is something warped about thinking that "Christ is King" can be a pejorative.

The Screwtape Letters provide a spiritual means at which seemingly good things can become corruptible.

Peterson is brilliant but is also prone to insanity… much like Sam Harris.
