I’m not certain what I look like to others, but I sure feel like a red-blooded American badass.

I saw yesterday on Faux News the NYFD funeral service thingy and told mom those guys need to stop saluting and put their arms down as it really shows how morbidly obese and out of shape the NYFD is. Viewing those fat fricks from the side their bellies really show.

I only drink Quad Espresso. Nobody drinks it straight.

Touch of heavy cream...no sugar required

41 years old who spent the last year with a bad shoulder and bilateral plantar fasciitis. Gained weight and overall looked flabby. In July I looked in the mirror a few days after my birthday and didn't like the way I looked anymore, and I was "thin" by comparison of most men around me.
6'2" and weighted 206. I gave up soda, cut crap food and started running a few miles a day. Took all of 30 minutes a day. I dropped 22 pounds in 6 weeks.
Stopped smoking, started lifting at lunch and have put on 7 pounds of muscle so far. Body fat percentage is down 8% with another 4 to go to until I hit my target.
The time I spend exercising is simply taken from the time smoking or playing on my phone. If I can do it anyone can.

Heavy cream has more calories than Stevia.

Coffee = 5 calories. Just drink the coffee.

Nice.
And OP is correct, we are a nation of fat slobs. I think one of the problems for people is they go WAY to hard at the start of their fitness journey with diets and exercise and get burnt out before they realize actual results. Fitness is a lifestyle change, not a temporary hobby. Once you start seeing results it becomes a lot easier to stay motivated.

It's always funny seeing people's "fat" weights because I'm just shy of 6'6"
I'd look like I was dying at 206

And for goodness sake, if you are a guy in your 30s still playing video games, it is time to grow up and move on.
It's not for me but I don't see why it's any less healthy than watching 3 hours of tv, or 12-16 hours on a Saturday of watching other grown men be athletic.

I wasn't fat per se, but fat for me. Naturally slim build who had put on belly weight to the point I didn't like it.
And I have a 6'7" skinny BIL. I know how much the extra inches add to weight.

I am 6'2" and 206 is about right. I am not 206 anymore, but that was my 20-40 age weight

I've already explained. It cannot be done with the coffee I drink. Try it. Walk into a Starbucks and order 4 shots of Espresso and down it.

Covid leveled me for a while and I gained some weight. But I’ve been working out every morning doing marine PT with an ex drill instructor. Cut sugar and fried foods - I’ve never felt better.
