Literally all you have to do is eat less. That's it.

As a person currently on the wrong side of this issue, this is bullshite.
75%+ of health is diet. You may not have time to work out, but you do have time to eat better

It pains my soul to see my two managers walk by my office every day. Thinking about getting an AED for the building for when these guys fall over with a heart attack.
Good news is that the kids in the office are all down for an 8K this December. So there is hope.

It's not your appearance, it's your health. When you're in a wheelchair at your kid's high school graduation and you're dead by the time your grandkids are graduating, don't cry about it.

Absolute bullshite.
You can find 20 minutes to get your heart rate up and break a little sweat. Sounds like you have problems with prioritizing and time management

If you're a married man who has gained some weight, get your arse in the gym, lift some weights and get back in fighting shape.
Haven't read whole thread so this might be repeat. Working out is not the key to losing weight. Really fat people need to drastically cut their calorie intake. Just read labels of what you buy. They show calories, fat grams and sodium content. Gym work is great for body shaping but not body shrinking.

Intermittent fasting works. It increases testosterone and helps you lose weight even if you don't work out.

I've thought about this a lot and for most men I think that linking stress relief to working out likely really leads to positive long term associations. Making them 2 separate concepts makes working out seem more burdensome and disposable

I quit drinking all soda products about 20 yrs ago when I quit smoking. I had an associative habit with both. Gave up sweet tea a couple of years ago. I allow myself a little sugar in my coffee, but that's about it.
Now beers.......
Now beers.......

Porn, video games, alcohol.
I consider that the Devil's Triad for modern men.
None of the three - if indulged in moderation - will cause issues.
The problem is that all three can be highly addictive and can take over your life if you're not careful. This is especially true for single men who live alone.
And for goodness sake, if you are a guy in your 30s still playing video games, it is time to grow up and move on. The occasional session of Madden or some shite, sure. But if you're still donning a headset for a 3-hour session of mind-numbing fantasy-world, you need to evaluate your priorities.
It's like the people who dress up like Harry Potter characters and play quidditch. But at least they're outside and getting some friggin' exercise.
A lot of guys also underestimate the amount of calories they are consuming via alcohol. Calories from beer and mixers will add up quick.

This. I can't understand how people can eat greasy fat bombs everyday for lunch. It's unhealthful and expensive.

Only a man deprived of wisdom makes this strawman argument.
We call them excuses.
Stop eating sugar, get your heart rate up 3 times a week.

Try Stevia. I tried artificial in my coffee years ago and didn't like it. Wife said to try Stevia and it's exactly like sugar.

All the light beers in the world don't do shite if you cut out all the sucrose in the diet.
Partake as much as you'd want.
Now some of the heavier beers do have quite a bit of sucrose in them...moderate to 1-2 a weekend.

Stevia tastes nothing like sugar.
Coffee is delicious. Does not need a sweetener.

We have 22-25 year old "men" showing up to take the police test that can't do 10 push-ups. I'll bet they can play the hell out of Call of Duty though.
