One thing that all left wing governments impose is destruction of free speech. A lot of comedy is based on mocking how things are going. That kind of joke got you a 10 year prison sentence in the USSR. China currently has strict limits on internet communication.
Here in the U.S. we saw the left wing impact on late night T.V. hosts. Their jokes 'Trump Bad!' did not cause laughter. The crowd just goes 'Woo Woo' and applauds with agreement that Trump is bad. It's gonna get worse.

Back to top Things only seem to get worse everywhere, never better. And no, it isn't about turning off the internet, going outside, and touching grass. The world outside seems to be regressing at an alarming rate. I think a massive conflict is coming. Not sure if it will qualify as WW3 but it will be awful.

Of course you agree with him.

I was there, I watched the decline happen. Everything began to unravel on January 22, 1973. That was the day a democrat SCOTUS Court ruled a woman could kill (abort) her baby. The baby in the womb was left totally defenseless. It quickly went downhill from that moment on.
The systematic destruction of the traditional family was relentless and it was effective.
The rise of Globalism added to the destruction of the American family. Jobs that once were available to fathers of families were handed to foreigners by the multi-national corporations. I even remember my former employer (a fortune 500 Company multi-national corporation) telling us employees the company longer held to the traditional employer - employee commitment. Jobs that had given a decent secure life to so many families were outsourced. It was all about profit now.
I was there, I watched the attack on the traditional family model. What followed was the rise of the hook-up culture. A hook-up culture where 20% of the men, services 80% of the women. What was once a wonderful procreative act of love between a man and woman that produced babies has now been cheapened. It's so bad in this country, American men are abandoning dating and seeking the marital relationship of foreign women - with traditionalist leaning Thai and Fillipino woman in high demand.
Yep, I watched the slow burn destruction of the traditional family. I even tried to turn the culture around, by preaching Jesus Christ Crucified. I tried to stop the bleeding. Yep, and at the tip of the spear as far as the destruction of the traditional family is concerned? The mafia democrat party - the Party of Death.
The abortion movement has now moved on from aborting babies to infanticide.
Abortion and Infanticide kills babies and destroys nations

a bb/pellet gun
I had an old Crossman multi-pump that would fit the bill.
Took out birds, frogs, even squirrels. With the scope I could take out turtles all the way across the pond.
Recommend something that hits at least 550 fps.
Pellets are slower to feed, but generally more accurate, and hit harder. Accuracy depends on brand and style.

The world, on average, is more peaceful now than it ever was. The conflicts and unrest that are out there are just brought straight to your hand now days. 200 years ago, someone living in South Louisiana would never know there were riots in France. May have never known there was war in Ukraine.

Been said for thousands of years. Thousands
And, to be fair, there are usually massive conflicts to either restore or replace the political/social order every 20-40 years.

Lol I was mid-teens then.
Now? I'd LOVE to try out one of those Benjamin Bulldogs!
PCP is freaking fantastic.
I'd wanna stick with oldschool for the survival situation tho. Less things to go wrong the better.
ETA for typos.

Best survival weapon, if we are talking about being in an emergency situation in the wilds and getting yourself home....
A single shot 22lr over either a single shot .410 or 20 gauge.
I have one. Used it to "rough it" many times.

It's unsettling when crime happens in your neighborhood when it's not the norm
But the world is certainly not getting worse
It could get worse and your fears of widespread international conflict aren't completely unfounded. But there isn't much that you can do about that. Control the things that you can control. Things are pretty damn good if you live in the United States. We have things we can improve on but if you're even a lower middle class person you're living better than the richest person in the world 150 years ago.

I always wanted one of those 1 shot combo rifles. I never got around to getting one though. :-(
We used to do a lot of snake clearing pest control at one of my friend's house. That would have been awesome for that. And yeah, I could definitely see it as a good tool for the situations we are talking about.

If the fears that this Thread imagines are legitimate, then we may front row seats for the greatest and absolutely definitive scenario that Humanity has ever experienced since Creation. The “Second Coming” of Truth and the promise of Jesus Christ to step in and save humanity from their own flawed nature and the powerful influence of Evil, “for the sake of the Elect “, is off the charts for drama. And if this scenario unfolds along Eschatological narratives, we will see and experience things that will change our character and soul FOREVER.
We of Faith can face this scenario either with fear, or with hope and gratitude that we are blessed to be a part of this monumental time. Because we have eternity to live, work and move forward into visions and feelings which we cannot- in our current perception bubble - even imagine.
Lord come quickly. Jesus has this.

The end of the Bible unfortunately.
Ironically that’s exactly what some of the extremists in Israel openly and proudly say they’re trying to bring about.

Do you think it's good to align ourselves with religious zealots that are trying to bring about the end times or no?

Life is much easier and safer than its ever been. If there was 24 news in any point in American or world history, it would appear much worse. CNN and social media during WW2 would have blown your mind.
