Jim Clyburn is about to be history. The five RINO seantors are phooqed.

A super majority is no longer needed.

Mike Pence is melting down.

So far in the 2026 Redistricting wars Dems picked up 5 in Cali and 1 in Utah. VA would would have been +4.

Republicans are +5 in Texas, +4 in FL, +1 Tennessee, +1 Missouri, +1 NC, +1, Ohio, +1 Alabama and Louisiana, which now appears to be the only state still in play, will be +1 R.

I posted this in another thread, but I’m glad that I was wrong when said that Louisiana was the only state still in play!

If we are being real here, this would not be happening without Trump in the WH beating the drum. Repubs were more than happy to bend over and take it with no lube while Dems marched into red states and stole districts in places like LA and AL. The Mike Pence’s of the world have been the fox in the hen house for way too long. Everything repubs like him have bemoaned forever could never be done have been done.

I'm fairly sure that Shane Massey is toast ... although I was told today at lunch that Shane is suddenly changing his vote to now be in favor of redistricting and effectively removing Clyburn from the House.

I'm not sure that's going to save Shane at this point.

Haven't heard what the other four state senators are going to do ... but I can only imagine that they're all in trouble.

Mike Pence is telling SC Republicans in the senate to "do a lot of soul searching before voting" ... which, in all honesty, was probably the straw that broke the camel's back here in SC. People told him to f-off on X and other social media.

It really is amazingly delusional that Pence directed that at SC senators after every one of his endorsed incumbent candidates in Indiana, his home state, were primaried out of office just last week.

Pence is pathetic.

That’s Republican leadership for you, he is no different than Thune or McConnell.

What’s Lindsey Graham’s position on all this? Or is he more focused on his true constituency Israel?

Tells me the establishment needs Clyburn. Just like Bennie Thompson in MS.

Watch the panic ramp up even more to save John Cornyn now.

I posted in the other thread but interested to hear your take: Do you think the new 2nd and Peedee districts have enough red voters to overcome the Dems? Looking at the past election numbers I’m not so sure.

I can’t remember the last time that clown even mentioned South Carolina in any manner.

Is this the part where enough General Assembly members run away and hide sothat a quorum can't convene?
That's how we roll in Texas. :>)
