AP-NORC poll: President Joe Biden’s approval rating dipped to the lowest point of his presidency in May, with deepening pessimism emerging among members of his own Democratic Party.

@AP
Replying to @AP
The AP-NORC poll shows only about 2 in 10 adults think the U.S. is heading in the right direction or the economy is good, both down from about 3 in 10 a month earlier.

Those drops were concentrated among Democrats, with just 33% within the president’s party saying the country is headed in the right direction, down from 49% in April. And just 73% of Democrats approve of Biden, down significantly since last year.

Overall, two-thirds of Americans disapprove of Biden’s handling of the economy, which is largely unchanged over the last few months, though elevated slightly since the first two months of the year.

The problem is that people don’t have any fricking foresight. They always come to far too late when the damage has been done.

The fact that his poll numbers are in the 30s makes me sad that 30-something percent of people in this country are mentally ill.

Objectively, I'm trying to think of any single thing an unbiased non-hack could say is better for the average american today than under Trump... forego the "mean tweets" crap.

Much like the hard core Trumpers who would never admit that that he could do wrong, I think we are now seeing what the true percentage of the other side is in the same camp.

Well, they need to do a national poll:

'Who do you like better?':
a. Joe Biden
b. Kamala Harris

He's got a good shot at hitting 50% approval.

And have terrible memories. This was what life was like under Obama.

I laugh about the people who voted for this and are experiencing raised rent, higher cost on groceries, gas, life in general. The defense is almost always "Well, it's happening everywhere else so I'm not alone in paying more". Okay.

“Getting harder and harder...”

Oh, and this mess is just getting started. We’re about to really know what it feels like to get bent over.

It’s more likely half that. No one likes him. No one likes his policies.

Never forget the respect he showed the soldiers his rushed & stupid Afghanistan evacuation killed:

He’s a racist, criminal, scumbag.

Rubbish. This bears no resemblance to Obama's presidency. We didn't have a border out of control with an anticipated influx of 5,000,000 new immigrants in one year, we didn't leave Afghanistan with our tail between the legs (Obama took out the world's leading terrorist)!, we didn't have crime and fentanyl out of control, we didn't have shortages of baby formula and other commodities, inflation wasn't out of control, and my 401k didn't lose 30% of its value in only a 4 month time span!

Mister, we could use a man like Barack Obama again!

Many years from now when all of the current bullshite subsides, Biden will be universally recognized as the worst President in our country's history.
