Yeah, we saw so many Israeli flags during the world cup. They didn't qualify, but a not insignificant percentage of NY/NJ attendees were Jews.

You are one of the people that clearly has no idea how to differentiate Mexicans from Hondurans, Guatemalans, Costa Ricans, Argentinians, etc.

Well, I am 3rd generation Mexican-American. Family from both sides came here illegally. I pop up on the complain about Mexicans threads because I believe i have some insight on the topic. I understand the frustration, but also I think it is misguided.

The problems are the media, NGOs, politicians, and of course the companies hiring illegals. There are forces in both parties that do not want a strong white American middle class. There's no other explanation but yeah, blame the people noticing wide open borders and relaxed employment enforcement, and deciding to come over here to work. Why not direct that anger after the people holding the door open? The call is coming from inside the house.

Italian - American? is this 1949, so dumb. Theres around 18M people in the USA with Italian ancestry and approximately 75% are mixed with German, English or something else and aren't going around waving italian flags like Mexicans.

Having lived in the NE part of the US, I can tell you that this absolutely is a thing and there are an ungodly amount of Italian flags being waived by Americans, most of which do not speak Italian.
