Most of the LNG is coming from Africa and Qatar. Storage caverns are full and ships still waiting in line to offload. Russia is losing its behind on loss of natural gas sales as well as net return on crude oil being sold at a high discount.
FTR, in cold weather areas, propane is added to the natural gas at the power plant to boost its BTU value during freezing weather.
In an assessment I made to relocate a waste wood fired boiler for a petrochemical plant in Louisiana, it can be fueled with pulpwood for the equivalent of $5 Henry Hub natural gas price. Since the demand for paper is way down, there are idle forests planted in pulpwood in Europe. PLUS, all the branches and treetops can be shredded and used with it.

I couldn’t answer that. Yet there was without doubt tremendous profit extracted from Afghanistan during NATO’s occupation of the country.
