Every time you hear that phrase, it's an attempt to reprogram minds. The USA was NOT founded as a democracy, but as a Constitutional Republic. Folks, there's a Huge difference between the two.......

A constitutional republic is a democracy.

It's not a direct democracy.

So beyond sick of hearing the Progressive left bastardizing that phrase every time you turn your head around these past few years.

It's one of the main reasons I hate the democratic party now. They've turned our society into a modern day Salem Witch trial. Say whatever you want with no fact check and no consequences except to the person/party accused

It’s not just the left who has used that phrase. People on the right have used it the last several years as well.

When they say, "It's a threat to our democracy!" They don't mean everyone's democracy. Just theirs.

Yep. Doesn’t matter if it’s a Republican or Democrat, they all have their own version as to what a Democracy should look like.

That...and democracy now only means doing shite Democrats want. If you disagree with them, you're a threat to democracy.

Democracy is the Dem's definition for one-party tyranny.

No one has ever explained exactly how this would work.

But they frequently emphasize democracy on purpose with the context to imply we are a direct democracy.

The common people are easily controlled through propaganda and government dependency. In a direct democracy, control of the common people becomes absolute control.

Mayor of NYC was bitching that the "national government" wasn't providing enough support to NYC lately. Apparently people don't understand the difference between a "national" government and a "federal" government. It's more than just a slight nuance.

The average American is a f***ing idiot thanks to the indoctrination received via public/government schools. Democracy -v- Republic, national govt -v- federal govt... Totally clueless and content to remain so.

No, we happen to be a constitutional republic who chooses to do things *democratically*. There is a difference.

Sidney Powell (and her Cuban Venezuelan Italian internet connection) said Systematic did it.
it was reposted here on TD political board.

A Constitutional Republic implements democratic aspects, but is not a Democracy. A Democracy spawns a mob rule mentality which is why the Dems foster it.
