I hope Mr. Khalil enjoys his flight out of Alexandria International Airport to the sunny shores of Syria!

Whoof. The wisdom of the bush era strikes again. Rev up the patriot act and speak in hushed tones, amigos.

Well he gets to appeal, so we'll see what happens.

We should pause for a moment to call out all the L’s taken in this thread. Starting with OP, the strip mall divorce attorney, and 4Chubby.
So much winning.
So much winning.

I hope Mr. Khalil enjoys the accommodations in Jena then, because he’ll be spending another year there if he appeals.

I was thinking that as well. Being imprisone in Jena, he might just say screw it, get me out of here.

He’s deporting him for providing support for terrorism

That’s what YOU say, not what the Secretary of State says.
They lied to you.
Are you surprised?

That’s exactly right.
He’ll likely choose to “self-deport” as opposed to staying in Jena.

It seems Mamoud khalil will likely win his immigration court hearing.

Dipshite OP is apparently not recognizing that those on a student visa can also be considered “lawful permanent residents” if certain steps are taken. Both can be true simultaneously.
Wrong. Those are separate statuses.

I'm on the side of what I believe to be fair. I don't believe this guy has done anything that rises to the level of deportation.
I don't subscribe to his politics and I have no sympathy at all for the Palestinian people. None of that factors into this for me and I hope he wins his appeal.

Student visa, then LPR.
