Not sure this will work out how Hamas wants it to.
If attacks don’t happen, it shows Hamas’ threats as empty.
If attacks do happen, I don’t think it will cow people but, instead, galvanize them to wipe Hamas off the face of the Earth.

The USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group is arriving to the area near Israel on Tuesday.
This is a regularly scheduled deployment for the Eisenhower Strike Group.
Not to say where they're going or what they'll be doing is regularly scheduled....but the deployment was scheduled long before the events of this week.

Does this mean both will be in the Meditteranean sea? Seems not ideal to have both together like that.

I believe (initially) one will be in Mediterranean and the other in the Indian Ocean. One is the replacement for the other, but both could stay on-station for a while.
