To answer this question: no I don’t think Islam has “won” and, in fact, is in a bit of an existential crisis.

They’re closer to be gradually exterminated than surpassing Christianity as the dominant cultural force of humanity.

Very accurate. However, today we face the threat of governmental policy being decided by the majority. We will reach a national tipping point. Some parts of the country already have reached the tipping point.

What will the followers of Islam choose for our country try once they get to decide policy. Sharia law will be upon us, as they have stated.

What used to be decided by the swinging of steel will be decided by yays and nays.

They are playing the long game. And we are losing.

That is not how they attempt victory.

They will try through political offices from town to town and city to city.

This is true.

If they take over America, it will not be with violence.

And this is precisely why Isreal is so important. Not "the Jews", but Isreal.

We have a technologically superior citizenry on their doorstep that's willing to take them on, although outnumbered. That citizenry happens to be aligned with Western values and is one of our closest, most capable allies. Completely leaving religion out of the equation, we need them to be strong and prosperous and standing as a guard dog between us and the Islamic threat. We need them to pose as a border patrol overseas, and a caretaker that culls the hurd and trims the branches when they grow too far over the fence.

Pushing them away would be a huge mistake in the long term, if you're concerned with the encroaching threat. Europe is feeling it now and will fall sooner or later. They should've cozied up to Isreal and fed them weapons and Intel to help trim the branches before reaching over their fence.
