Pakistan’s national flag, which features the Islamic star and crescent, flew over London’s Westminster Abbey this week, sparking controversy and eliciting angry reactions from across the country.

The flag was allegedly flown to celebrate “Pakistan Day,” which honors the passing of the Lahore Resolution, which marked the call for a separate Muslim nation within the British Indian Empire in 1940, and the adoption of its first constitution in 1956, declaring itself the world’s first Islamic republic. In addition to flying the Pakistani flag, a special service was held inside the Abbey, attended by officials from the Pakistan High Commission.

Observers online questioned the gesture, citing Pakistan’s harsh blasphemy laws and documented persecution of Christians, bringing up instances of mass kidnappings of Christian youth who are pushed into forced marriage and extensive violence against Churches on celebration days. Individuals voiced their alarm about the seeming endorsement of a nation where Christians can face violence, threats, and intimidation.

Pakistanis are the second-largest ethnic minority group in the UK, accounting for a vast proportion of the country’s Muslim citizens. Heavily Pakistani-populated enclaves of Britain have a reputation as Muslim ‘no-go zones.’ Controversial London Mayor Sadiq Khan is Pakistani, as is Scotland’s equally controversial First Minister Humza Yousaf. Both are known for their friendly stance towards radical Islamism and alleged anti-Semitic tendencies.

I will never understand why Western nations are so eager to replace their own people, culture, and religion with foreigners

The trojan horse used it tolerance and shame. White people buy up things that make them feel guilty for anything their -race- has ever been connected to that is bad. Western nations are (were) largely white.

Enter non-white controlled propaganda machines used to control the prosperous nations. Teach them every race is good and equal, except maybe whites, who need to feel bad for their past. Teach them that multi-culturalism is a strength, and that we need to feel bad for everyone that isn't white and privileged. Sacrifice must be had. No one is responsible for the things they do, except whites.

Now, shame and marginalize asians in western countries for the crime of abandoning communism.

Excuse the rant.

The point is obvious. Whites must be tolerant of everything done by non-whites, PERIOD. Or they're evil, and to be shamed. Also, they're told they don't have their own culture.

These people also destroyed the idea of individual responsibility.

It’s a minority driven process, they want to fracture the majority and take power and resources for themselves.

The public has never voted for any of this anywhere. It’s not popular.

I was living in England when 9/11 happened. The young men were so angry and outraged, you would have thought London was attacked. They wanted to see payback. At the same time, the news carried stories of people, seemed mostly like Roma, who would swarm into the French side of the Chunnel at night and walk to England. There was a lot of outrage over that relative trickle of illegals.

Fast forward less than 25 years and everything has flipped.

As an aside, the Star and Crescent used to be used by the Christian Byzantine Empire.

I thought they always did this with visiting dignitaries as long as the Royal Family wasn't in residence?

(however, I think they also did away with flying banners in the 80's because it told the IRA where the royals were... one can dream)

the UK (and other nations in the west and Middle east) need/needed foreign workers to build their cities and work in the factories in the 60s and 70s. that's the main reason. then, entire families moved there, and families began sponsoring other relatives to move there for economic reasons

Going to England in a couple of months. We're avoiding London and doing York, the Peak District, the Cotswolds and Hampshire.

If FJB and the goose-stepping communazis had Pakistani Day, it seems as though you would support flying a flag on an iconic structure.

Perhaps the Washington Monument?
