There are hundreds of thousands of Americans with security clearances of one degree or another. The problem here is that Trump is targeting the clearances of those that he perceives as personal enemies.
That is Third World government at its finest.
Sure, of the hundreds of thousands of Americans with security clearances, I'll bet there are many that need to be looked into and should have them stripped. But doesn't it make sense to investigate ones that are known to you to have shady reasons or intentions for having one? Kind of like deportations starting with know criminals.

you prefer violent criminals to law abiding citizens.

MAGA!
Letitia James literally announced as a campaign platform her goals to engage in vindictive retaliation against Donald Trump and she is a STAR of your party.

Sadly, it is not.
Democrats and Perkins Coie set that precedent. They should also be able to hold up under a return volley.
FAFO. More to come.
Save your concern trolling for DU.

Where have I ever said (or even implied) that Donald Trump is not entitled to the protections of the US Constitution?
quote:Clearly, this would include the right to trial by a jury of his peers under the law.
To be crystal clear, It is my position that Donald Trump is ABSOLUTELY entitled to each and every protection afforded by the US Constitution. Hank, 07-Mar-2025

Intentionally obtuse. You can’t play holier than thou, Hank. You reek of hypocrisy.

No, it started with Ken Starr and the Bill Clinton impeachment.

it’s not really as bad as it seems.
Security clearance and contracts are under his perview as an executive and the “limit their access to federal buildings” isn’t as broad as you’d think it is. It’s not like he’s banning them from all federal courthouses for any reason.

Is it personal? If Perkins Coie was behind the Russia dossier (it was, there is no ambiguity there) thats not personal. That was an attempt to dislodge the rightfully elected President.
This firm should not be doing anything more than traffic tickets in Nampa Idaho.

So now he deserves those huh?
Now, you claim to have never been in favor of “gender affirming care,” aka - child abuse.
I guess the board needs to see if you have “transformed” even more:
Do you support trannies reading to children?

The law firm for the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee has acknowledged its clients’ role in paying for opposition research on Donald Trump that helped fund the now-infamous dossier of allegations about President Trump and Russia.
the law firm Perkins Coie, as part of its representation of the Clinton campaign and the DNC, retained the intelligence firm Fusion GPS and entered “into an engagement for research services that began in April 2016
That dossier was then given to the FBI as a referral for criminal prosecution. A dossier with Australian, British, and Russian fingerprints all over it. And you want to question why their security clearance is now vacated?
