These can't be real. Is this a flex to show that you can afford it or make people think you can afford it?
This is well north of 200k if you actually pay it off.

I suspect after a couple payments they will be delinquent and still keep it for another year before it is repossessed.

That's not just an investment that's a legacy piece you can pass down generation after generation like your grandaddy's rolex.

It’s a photo of a customer standing next to a vehicle with his salesman, presumably, with text overlaid.

The wife bought a new vehicle this past summer and inside the dealership on the showroom floor was an Escalade, it stickered over $120k. I remember just 30 years ago $120k bought a super nice home in the KC area.

Sometimes yes. Sometimes it's a flex to show people you can acquire it.

There are a lot of people who don't think any further ahead than that. There is no plan for how to actually pay for it, keep it, own it, etc.

The only plan is to get possession of it. People will find out what has to be done to get possession of it and then just haphazardly go down a path where things inevitably fall apart. Some people who do this know what's up from the beginning and others are genuinely ignorant enough and bad enough at foward-thinking that they are frustrated and surprised when it goes bad.

This.

It's what happens when you only focus on immediate gratification.

Yeah... I saw a brand new white BMW SUV parked right at the curb in front of Winn Dixie - blocking 5 other cars trying to get by, waiting for Aunt-tee to return from grocery shopping inside... the other 5 cars with horns blaring.. and the BMW owner totally clueless about the mess she was creating... just sitting there with her entitled self... waiting for Aunt-tee to return. Said to myself, "Won't be long before the repo man pays her a visit".

There are stereotypes for a reason.

I don't wish hardship on anybody, but I find watching irresponsible people being confronted with reality oddly satisfying. ACTION ADVENTURES WITH D

Somebody mentioned somebody my have overlaid the text over it with the payments. I sure hope that is what has happened.
Because it shows the world that you had no money for down payment, have terrible credit, and got a terrible interest rate.
So the Denali would come out to 288,000 after 96 mnths. Do they even have 8yr financing now? I've heard of 7 but not 8. Geez. That's like a 100 yr mortgage in Cali.
