'm not comparing our situation with what the Jews went through in Germany in the late '30's. I'm suggesting there's a similarity in the feeling of helplessness.

The best analogy I can come up with, for our current state of affairs, is a sculptor slowly chipping away at a block of granite. Nothing big has happened that would cause national outrage, but our rights and freedoms are being slowly dispatched. Actually I think many "Big" things have happened, they are just being propoganded away.

The folks on Jan 6 were trying to take action, and they are being systematically prosecuted. Which I'm sure is their intent...to send a message.

I want this shite to end, but I feel completely helpless. Like I'm just a bystander watching all this shite go down. I know the short answer to how best can I help is "Vote", but I think this is bigger than that. It feels like this has passed the tipping point where an elected official could intervene. It feels like this requires a complete overhaul.

This has turned into a clown world where an semblance of common sense has gone out the window.

I'm not afraid to take action, I simply don't know what actio

Many of us have had the same thoughts for years or months now.

There is much danger here but also an opportunity to revive our country.

Many talk of of a National Divorce, a cold civil war, or a hot One.

The moment that people begin to actually organize at some local park or some other location will be the spark for the feds to swoop in an arrest the entire group and charge them with conspiracy of terrorism and give the feds the reason to nullify the 2nd Amendment and make firearm ownership illegal. This is one thing they are waiting for.

Voting is important but it has to be an honest election or things will go sideways.
We need to have a serious discussion with our state legislators. I believe this would be our correct next step.

The jews in 30's Germany were communist agitators. That's why they were "persecuted" but the winner gets to play the narrative. Research the Weimar Republic. The jewish internationalists and their stooges won the war and that is why we are in the predicament we're in.

You've captured the feeling many of us have. I've used the same "Germany in the '30s" analog myself many time.

We are in a big vat of warming water, and those who notice are unsure of how to stop the ones bringing the firewood.

Well, who is we? You’d have to define it.

The Jewish community was very rich in interwar Germany, they owned much of the industry and the media in the country. The Nazis stripped them of all of that.

So in that way, it’s very different.

The way they are labeling people deplorables, terrorists, etc absolutely is the same. It’s a tactic

This. It’s similar to Hitlers early days where he started fomenting resentment and hatred towards the Jews.

Persecution comes next

I'm going with yikes on this one. Seeing your neighbors rounded up and sent to death camps or executed on the spot just doesn't compare with whatever helplessness you are feeling. I'm enjoying life right now. Maybe seek counseling?

As I've been saying all along - it's like America being sabotaged from the inside in slow motion while citizens are handcuffed and muffled being forced to watch.

I suggest we start by voting the democrats out of office this November. It's a good start.

In the meantime we get to watch Plugs slowly decline. Maybe it'll cement in the minds of the electorate that we must NEVER allow this to happen again. I always try to be optimistic.

Absolutely not. People in America have no idea what real oppression and racism looks like. We live in our own American fantasy bubble over here. What a silly take. Saying that is no different than the blacks saying they’re oppressed as well. Just stupidity all around.

At least with black people there are blacks that are alive today that can say they are oppressed

If you think you're being oppressed because of your "conservative" political beliefs it's because you're a delusional idiot

I know, but I’m just saying the blacks today going around talking about how oppressed they are in this country today, it’s BS. Any conservative saying they are oppressed, it’s BS. Terms are used so loosely by everyone in this country.

Jewish control of industry in Nazi Germany was, of course, largely Nazi propaganda intended to fuel the Jews as a scapegoat narrative. Most modern estimates of Jewish wealth in Germany put the per capita wealth at slightly above the national average. The overwhelming number of Jews were basic working class artisans and merchants - your tailors, cobblers, mongers. The Jews in Germany in the 1930s were just like everyone else.

The action required is too scary for us all and that's why nobody is willing to do it.

Lol I don’t care about the insults you pussy. We have seen over the last 200 years what tactics like this do. We saw it in Rwanda when one black group called another subhuman. The people eventually believe it. A million people were slaughtered with machetes shortly after. The same thing happens everywhere this behavior is encouraged. Killing, massacres, attacks. Here in the US, random attacks happen every day now. The state is calling average citizens terrorists. Eventually, it could lead to mass violence because those people they are speaking to blame you for their problems. There are entire books and classes on this subject

The Jews represented less than 1% of the German population. The Tutsis less than 15%. I dont even know which groups the OP or yourself and other posters think you belong to here that represent an oppressed minority that is in danger of genocide. All indications are that conservatives are going to annihilate the democrats in the mid terms. The majority of Americans are independents that orbit the center.

The dehumanizing language does bother me. It bothers me when I hear it on on both sides. I was called a member of a pervert cult for suggesting that we dont label all drag queens pedophiles just a few days ago. The term pedophile groomer gets thrown around here like the term racist gets thrown around by morons on the far left. A term that if accurate justifies putting someone in prison for life. This will lead to violence but it wont be the wholesale slaughter of one group over another.
