Without a doubt Hank. They were all the things I said. Let me say it this way:
FDR was a man of The Left. True ? We agree , right? But still, he was 1000 miles to the Right of the Nazis, who were 100 miles to The Right of the Soviets. It’s a continuum.
But the Nazis WERE a socialist movement. Just because they hated those to their Left and Right and purged everyone and were also Nationalists ( primarily imho ) and corporatists and Statists and Fascists etc doesn’t mean they weren’t WAY on the left side of the political spectrum.

Nazi is used 90% by the left, the right usually uses fascist (which leftists also use) and Marxist.

Marxist is the only still- relevant term of those. The Nazis and Fascists overwhelmingly belong to history. This is an era of Statism, World Order, Cultural suicide, Cultural Marxism, Corporatism, Marxist deconstruction of The West, etc. Our Ruling Class has found Individual Liberty guilty and sentenced our culture to death.

Instead of having to build an evil character in the opening discourse of a movie, they just put the label 'nazi' on them.
This way, all of the pre-built association that an audience already perceives about nazis gets associated with their evil biker-nazi guy, or euoro-nazi guy, or nazi-hoe, or moon-nazi explorers.
Zero effort required to make a bad guy character.

It happened in the film adaptation of The Sum of All Fears. It was a radical Islamic terrorist cell who smuggled a suitcase nuke into Mile High Stadium in Denver for the Super Bowl. At least it was in the book.
In the movie, it was white supremacist skinheads trying to get a dirty bomb in Baltimore, IIRC.
