Except that there are actual NAZIs in Ukraine as opposed to the other lies.

Well, Prosecutor John Keker once described Lt Col. Ollie North as "Hitler."

well Nazis were the members of the National Socialist German Workers Party. key word is socialist..
There is no better argument than this … to establish that the speaker knows NOTHING of German interwar history or of the History of the Nazi party.

Contemporaneously, Nazi ideologist Gregor Strasser famously proclaimed:

We are socialists. We are enemies, deadly enemies, of today’s capitalist economic system with its exploitation of the economically weak, its unfair wage system, its immoral way of judging the worth of human beings in terms of their wealth and their money, instead of their responsibility and their performance, and we are determined to destroy this system whatever happens!

Whether they were socialists/ fascists/Nationalists or some other iteration of Statist oppression,- they were ideologically more similar to the USSR than the United States. They didn’t hate the Soviet Union because they were socialists, they hated the Soviet Union because they were Bolshevik nationalists. Hence the term NATIONAL socialists.Nationalism FIRST, Socialism second. But still definitely, undeniably socialist.

As I said, perfectly indicative of a complete lack of knowledge of German history.

You would know this, if you looked any deeper than the name. You probably believe that the peoples “republic“ of Korea is actually a republic.

The word Nazi means whatever you want it to be. The real Nazis do not exist anymore. There may be groups that have ties and roots that date back to Nazism, but they are very small in number, and no where close to the same kinds of Nazis from the 1930-40s. Similar to the KKK today. They really don’t exist anymore, even though there are still chapters. But they’re not going around burning crosses in peoples yards and hanging black people for asking the white girl out to prom. There are also maybe 5 KKK members in the US today. If anyone truly acts like Nazis today, it’s the Muslims.

These people trying to argue about Ukrainian Nazis are just like the Libs that they hate. They act and spew the same shite.

Oh Hank, of COURSE Hitler murdered his rivals within the movement. We all know that The Left purges its own. Stalin, Mao, etc. You get so personal when you defend Socialism/ Communism/ Progressivism. But nothing you said refutes the fact that the Nazis were very socialist in nature.

There are definitely neo-nazis out there. Most just happen to be right-wing.

Exactly.

Collectivism regardless of political aisle is closer to communism than individuality and merit. Its hard for left wing radicals to reconcile that Stalin, Hitler, Mao and Pol Pot are the same damn coin.

In other words , I point out the irrefutable fact that the National socialists were er um SOCIALISTS , you can’t refute it despite being the self- proclaimed only historically- literate person on the board, so you hurl a few insults and flee without factual refutation.

Nice work Hank.

I, for one, am totally shocked that a Dictator would kill his right hand men. This has never happened in the history of the world, except for every time a Dictator ruled.

if you think that Strasser was Hitler’s right hand man, you know even less of history than the Pimp. The two hated one another

The AZOV's, the Pravy Sektor, et al ARE killing Ukranians and are as close to any true NAZI as you will find.
We've been funding/training these groups for nearly a decade.
After a bill was passed to truncate that funding the Pentagon stepped in and overrode that effort. When you "stand with Ukraine" you are standing with, & advocating their actions as well as your beloved government's support of them.
German history, Swazstika and SS tattoos, coupled with the well-known actions of these people leaves but one word & one word only to describe them...that word is NAZI.
You cretins can sugar-coat it and/or play your little definition games like you always do but truth remains steadfast.

Why would anyone argue that the Nazis weren’t socialist in nature? It’s nonsensical. Just because they were simultaneously fascists and nationalists doesn’t change this fact. Why must American progressives be so rigidly infantile? They called themselves socialists. They had socialist policies. All the socialists of the era offered support and were overwhelmingly pro Nazi until Stalin told them the Nazis were the enemy. Statism. Corporatism. Nationalism . Fascism. Socialism. The Nazis were all those things. What they weren’t, is Western democrats with representative government that valued Individual Liberty. Modern American Libertarianism would be the exact opposites with Conservatives close behind. Progressives would be much closer philosophically. Hank knows this, it just makes him ornery.

Right. They had a command economy, regardless of private or public ownership.
