Does it matter if he pleads guilty? There shouldn't be any kind of plea deal in this case, right?

He will live in the prison system for the rest of his life.

This guy won’t be executed

I'm pretty sure if you find the right guy in the same prison as him...we can end this dude at a cost of a carton of Marlboros.

firing squad would be better than lethal injection

I hope not.

Firing squad is legal there, but it's a choice of the convicted I think between that, lethal injection, etc.

IMO, I think his death penalty should be slow and painful, and broadcast (with appropriate warnings) as a deterrent to future loons. Pain is something they won't like.

I’d put a deal out there for him: spill everything you know, including naming names, and the DP is off the table.

Otherwise enjoy the lethal injection table/firing squad seat.

The only other acceptable alternative to the death penalty is solitary confinement for life with an endless loop of Charlie Kirk speeches playing until he dies.

These days the death penalty means they execute you in about 30 years. The exceptions are when the criminal refuses to allow any appeals.

They should just throw him from the tallest bridge and be done.

Yes.

The state may accept a plea deal with life imprisonment no parole to avoid a trial.

Yes because Charlie was white

If the white shooter killed a black man, he would get the highest penalty

Prove me wrong

Firing squad would fit the crime.

I asked Grok to calculate the odds.

The answer was a 95% chance he AVOIDS the death penalty.

Dress him up in women's lingerie and air-drop him into palestine. Nature will take care of the rest.

I hope he gets the death penalty. And really, he should hope that he gets it as well.

Now that his sexual history is known, he's going to have a lot of suitors waiting on his arrival. Only he won't be pitching this time around. He'll be catching from here till the end.

He won't interact with other prisoners much at all.
Sadly, he won't be raped.

Utah governor Cox said Charlie's family would have some say in the death penalty decision. I don't think Erica would ask for it.
