Haven't seen a doctor, but pretty confident I have the flu. I'm in the Raleigh, NC area. I'm actually shocked because according to the cdc covid eradicated the flu last year. Anyone else out there seeing the flu going around?

SE Louisiana here. Haven't seen the flu yet around here. I'm sure it will make its rounds soon tho.

A couple of flu outbreaks in St. Louis.

Levels remain below baselines.

Flu rolling thru Baton Rouge pretty hard right now.

Inevitably it will get stuck in traffic and infect wayyy more people this season.

Flu is everywhere around my wife’s Peds clinic in south LA. Multiple cases daily

They averaged maybe one case a week last year, if that

I'm getting over a vicious sinus infection right now.

Never lost sense of taste or smell and didn't have any fever to speak of.

Not in my area of Louisiana -- pharmacist friend told me about a week ago that they're not dispensing tamiflu yet.

Now where our college student is in Mississippi, it ran through the campus and town like crazy. Tamiflu and Xofluza were hard to find and clinic wait times were up to 6 hours. Type A is what I've seen reported.

Yes. It kicked my arse from Monday 11/15 to Thursday 11/18. Finally got back to work on the 19th to discover I was "Case Number Zero" and had infected the entire damned office. (Small office in Atlanta-metro area, tight quarters, and nine people in total.)

Five days of prednisone and ten days of Benzonatate for viral bronchitis and it's only a memory. Fever was on again, off again over the course of four days, sore joints and muscles, typical symptoms. Was tested for the C-word virus but it turned out negative. I'm sure it would have been positive for the C-word virus if I had driven thirty miles to the CDC in Atlanta and presented myself. (I swear, I think they'd diagnose a kidney stone as Covid if it meant more fed funding for them.)

The common flu no longer exists. It's either the Rona or an offshoot of it.
