Is protesting against the Israeli government the same as protesting against America?

Visas are a privilege which can be revoked at any time, pretty much for any reason the Secretary of State wants to give. So, this isn't a question about whether or not foreign students can be deported.
I'm just curious what the PoliBoard thinks. Is protesting against Israel the same as protesting against America?
EDIT to clarify, I mean just straight up protesting without breaking any laws. So, if someone posts on PoliBoard, "I think the Israeli government has disproportionately responded to the horrible atrocities of October 7," is that criticizing America?

Being a nuisance, a trespassers, and a disruptive bunghole in protest, no matter what the protest is for, should not be acceptable behavior.

No. Apparently protesting against the continued US funding of Israeli wars while remaining neutral on whatever happens in said wars is the worst crime of all, and clearly makes one an anti-Semitic Neo-Nazi Hitlerian ball-licker, even if one is consistently opposed to US funding of any and all foreign wars which don’t directly impact what happens on US soil at a time when the US is flat broke.

No doubt. I'm not talking about that.

Do you feel that way about J6ers?

I didn’t pay thousands of dollars to have a bunch of entitled pricks interrupt my classes.

The other team pays the equivalent of J6ers every day to burn, riot, loot, and do far more damage than was ever done on J6 by J6ers, and all ‘on this board’ do no more than call for them to follow the law. So, Nope.

The other team was BLM.
The other team actually bombed the capital.
The other team stormed the capital and tried to stop an official proceeding while donning pink pussy hats.

This isn’t what’s happening.

Instead they tried to storm the White House and burned down a church.
Seems like you are just fine with it.

Found the guy who never went to college.
I think they were invading Admin bldgs.
But, yes, criticizing Israel is akin to criticizing the US....there's the answer the OP was hoping for.

I'm not hoping for any paricular answer. I'm just curious what people thought.
I screwed this up. Your verb "criticize" is better than "protest," because protest brings up methods too much.

I'd say being pro hamas or pro isreal is anti-American.

It is criticizing government policy.

His question is getting to the heart of why some of these foreign students are losing their student visas.

If what they arrest abortion protesters for they should arrest any other protester.
However, taking politics out of it all. As long as you are not damaging property or disrupting someone else’s rights then it’s free speech.
