Not at my Walmart. I just needed some BBQ SAUCE and the Mexicans were buying everything. A lot of empty shelves.

There will be a secondary rush of panic next week when the first big handful of tests start coming back positive. But it won’t be nearly what we had this week know that we have a clear winning strategy publicly presented.

We will see in a few weeks where we are at. Give it a few more thousand cases and shite will get ridiculous quickly.

Have you driven by a grocery store today? At least in LA, the coonasses think the Governor is shutting down grocery stores and there is a mad rush to clean out the food on grocery shelves.

Everyone just started lockdown. Wait 3 weeks when everyone is tired of being stuck at home.

Small businesses will start closing down which will rightfully cause alarm

I just drove by Publix and Wal-Mart, they'd say the panic hasn't calmed one bit.

Not sure. Still hearing of people buying up toilet paper and frozen food. I will quote my BIL...”I hate people. People are assholes.”

We’re not out of the weeds yet. Check back in two-three weeks.
I think the best indicator would be the number of confirmed cases in the ICU, but I haven't seen a good breakdown on that yet.

Prepare for a weekend of fistfights, stabbings, and some guns pulled at grocery stores over the last can of Beefaroni.
Odds are more people will be killed by our scholars not being in school than will be saved by their social distancing from school.

That number is currently too small for the media to publish.

The panic incited by the media and now the shutdown of society is making the public a tinderbox. It's not gonna take much to set it off.

Illinois just closed down every school in the state and Champaign county is out of toilet paper

My state just closed all schools for a month. I would say the panic is just getting started.

We went through the run on grocery stores last week in Washington. Now the stores are practically deserted and the shelves are well stocked. Still no hand sanitizer but I have plenty of soap and water.

This is called government workers that only put in 2/3 of a year in the first place wanting another month of paid vacations
You do realize that the people that make those decisions work 12 months out of the year. 75% of the support staff of our local district are 12 month employees.

level off from what?
the 40 or 50 that have taken 6 weeks to happen?

This was today down here. Now that everyone is stocked up, hopefully it settles down now.

I felt it too. People are sick and tired of it. They will still follow recommended actions, but kind of got their heads around it.
